The first day of Unexpected Journey 2025 (Monday 25 August) will be organised on the BUas campus. The second part (Tuesday 26 to Friday 29 August) will be held at Camping Tulderheyde in Belgium. This site will be the home base where much of the activities will take place and where all participants and crew will stay overnight.
There are several ways to travel to the BUas campus:
Public transport
The BUas campus is easily accessible by public transport. The bus stop ‘St. Ignatiusstraat’ is the nearest bus stop located right next to the campus. From Breda Central Station, several bus lines run in the direction of the campus. When using public transport, always consult the website 9292.nl (other link for English text) or download the 9292 app from the Appstore for the most up-to-date times.
Bicycle
The campus is located about 10 minutes cycling from Breda Central Station and Breda city centre.
Kiss & Ride
Are you getting a ride from someone who will take you to Unexpected Journey by car? Then you can use the Kiss & Ride zone that will be set up on campus. To do so, navigate to the address below.
Share scooters
Coming to campus using a shared scooter? These can only be parked in the designated parking area on campus.
Car
We do not recommend coming to Unexpected Journey by car. There are no parking spaces available on the BUas campus for you to park your car. Only paid parking is available in the vicinity of the campus.

There are several ways to get to Tulderheyde Campsite:
Kiss & Ride
Have someone drop you off at the Kiss & Ride area set up at Tulderheyde Campsite.
Shuttle bus
Use the shuttle bus running from the BUas campus. The shuttle bus will take you from the BUas campus to Tulderheyde campsite on Tuesday morning. On Friday afternoon, you will be taken back to the BUas campus. Tickets for the shuttle bus cost 25 euros and can be bought through more.buas.nl.
Bicycle
Cycle to the campsite independently or in a group. Are you cycling from Breda to the campsite? Then we have mapped out a nice cycling route for you from the BUas campus.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to travel to the campsite in the following ways:
Car
It is not possible to come to Tulderheyde Campsite by car. There are no parking spaces available at the campsite where you can park your car.
Public transport
There is no direct connection by public transport to Tulderheyde Campsite. Do you want or need to use public transport? Then we recommend travelling by public transport to the BUas campus and using the shuttle buses from there.
