Several meals are offered during Unexpected Journey. This is included in the cost of participating in the introduction. You will receive breakfast on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Lunch is offered on Monday and Wednesday to Friday. In addition, we also offer you dinner on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. A suitable beverage is included with breakfast and lunch. Other complementary drinks can be purchased at the bars. Moreover, it is possible to purchase snacks on the premises.
We value good and nutritious meals. Do you have any allergies and/or diet we should take into account? Please mention this in your registration form during registration. Have you already registered without mentioning this? Then send an email to intro@buas.nl Our team will work with our suppliers to make sure you will get suitable alternative meals.
Unexpected Journey will ensure that there are sufficient toilets, showers and sinks at the introduction location. The showers are single cubicles and therefore you do not have to share them with other participants.
All participants will spend the nights from Tuesday 26 to Friday 29 August at the Unexpected Journey introduction site at Tulderheyde Campsite. You will sleep together with other participants in large sleeping tents placed on the site. Do bring your own sleeping bag, (single) mat or air mattress and pillow. For safety reasons, it is not possible to spend the night at another location during the introduction week. For the night of 25 to 26 August (after the end of the programme on the BUas campus), no sleeping facilities are offered.
Charging stations where mobile phones can be charged (for free) have been set up on the premises.
