Here you can meet the Unexpected Journey 2024 organisers. Every year the organisation consists of a number of senior students (placement students) of the Academy for Leisure & Events and the Academy for Tourism. Together with two BUas staff members, they are responsible for the entire organisation of the introduction week. Read more about this year’s organisers below!
Hello everybody! My name is Jochem Donkers, and I’m a second-year student of Leisure & Events Management aged 21. I come from Breda and have a huge passion for music. I work as a producer and can therefore often be found in the studio. I look forward to joining the team with my strengths!
Hello everyone! I’m Isa Rietveld, aged 21. I’m a second-year student of Leisure & Events Management. I originally come from Utrecht and have lived in Breda for a few years now. Having lived in Switzerland for 5 years and attended an international school for 9 years, I’ve developed an international perspective. My hobbies are travelling and snowboarding. I’m very excited to organise the induction week and look forward to gaining valuable insights from this opportunity.
Hey, everyone! I’m Kelly Zwoinski, 24 years old and currently doing my third year of International Tourism Management. I come from a small village in Gelderland and moved to picturesque and pleasant Breda because of my studies. I love being among people and in nature. I have many hobbies such as dancing, hiking, fishing, skiing and playing the saxophone. I’m very much looking forward to gaining new experiences and meeting nice contacts during Unexpected Journey.
